KULR Technology Group, an energy storage company, has purchased an additional $9 million worth of Bitcoin, increasing its corporate treasury's total value to $78 million. The company now holds approximately 800.3 Bitcoin, valued at around $85 million based on current market prices. This recent acquisition was made at an average price of $103,234 per token, coinciding with Bitcoin's trading around $106,200, reflecting a recent increase of over 25% in the past month. KULR is part of a growing trend among public companies accumulating Bitcoin as part of their treasury strategies, especially following industry-friendly policies associated with the re-election of Donald Trump. KULR aims to hold up to 90% of its surplus cash reserves in Bitcoin, a strategy that has been adopted by other firms in response to the current crypto market surge.
