Sun revealed on May 19 that he controlled the wallet with approximately $19 million of the TRUMP token. His attendance at the May 22 dinner, intended for the top 220 memecoin holders, marks a deepening relationship with the Trump administration. Alongside this event, Trump announced a VIP tour for the top 25 wallets. Sun, also connected to Trump’s crypto platform through a substantial investment, faced a legal case from the SEC over alleged improper trading practices, which was recently stayed. Sun's involvement has raised concerns among Democratic lawmakers about potential influence buying with digital assets, highlighted during discussions about a stablecoin regulation bill. As of May 20, other influential crypto figures are expected to attend the dinner and present their perspectives on the industry's future.
