Zerebro dev’s death in question as ‘proof’ surfaces
Reports regarding Zerebro developer Jeffy Yu's alleged suicide during a livestream have been challenged as potential fabrications. Evidence circulating in the crypto community suggests that Yu may have faked his death, having promoted a new memecoin days before the incident. An unverified private letter purportedly from Yu claims he staged the livestream to escape blackmail and threats, stating he had lived in fear due to his doxxing. Additionally, trading activities linked to Yu's crypto wallets after the alleged incident have raised suspicions, as funds from Zerebro tokens were transferred to a newly created token named Legacoin. Concerns have also been raised about the authenticity of the livestream itself, with claims that video elements were manipulated. This controversy comes after Yu released a manifesto discussing a concept termed Legacoins, emphasizing creator integrity in not selling coins. Following these events, the newly-formed Legacoin experienced a significant drop in market value.
