Zerebro dev is reportedly alive and at parents’ house: SF Standard
Jeffy Yu, the developer of Zerebro who seemingly committed suicide during a livestream on May 4, has been confirmed alive by the San Francisco Standard. Yu was seen outside his family's home, declining to discuss allegations of his death while acknowledging the PTSD he has been experiencing. Reports initially indicated his death as genuine, but subsequent evidence, including an alleged letter confirming he is alive and the movement of funds from his wallets, suggested otherwise. Approximately $1.5 million worth of Zerebro tokens were transferred from Yu’s wallets post-incident, reinforcing suspicions about his life status. Yu's situation exemplifies a troubling trend in the crypto industry concerning harassment and violence directed toward crypto figures, with reports of over 150 physical attacks in the sector since 2014.
