With the traditional aid system under pressure and hunger crises deepening, WFP USA is leveraging blockchain and cryptocurrency to modernize fundraising efforts. The organization highlighted that crypto donations can lower transaction fees, expedite fund processing, and offer tax deductibility for investors, enabling them to offset capital gains.
