This funding round was led by Accomplice and RRE Ventures, with contributions from Reciprocal Ventures, Variant Fund, and PayPal Ventures. Founded by veterans of Coinbase and Circle, True Markets aims to provide a non-custodial, mobile-first DeFi trading experience prioritizing speed, simplicity, and transparency. The app enables gasless token trading, automated execution, and support for immediate funding and trading, all while maintaining custody of users' funds. CEO Vishal Gupta emphasized the need for a better trading experience for retail users, which includes real-time market insights and improved liquidity.
