Strategy's Michael Saylor posts BTC chart after one-week break
Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), recently shared a Bitcoin chart with his 4.1 million followers, indicating a potential acquisition after a week-long hiatus from buying. As reported by SaylorTracker, the company holds about 471,107 BTC, valued at $45.3 billion, and is currently sitting on nearly $15 billion in unrealized gains. Despite a drop in revenue for its software segment, Strategy remains focused on acquiring more Bitcoin. During Q4 2024, Strategy purchased 195 BTC, its highest quarterly acquisition to date. The company's rebranding to Strategy aligns with its focus on Bitcoin and artificial intelligence, as stated by CEO Phong Le. The stock is currently trading at around $327 per share, a nearly 40% decrease from its all-time high in November 2024. Key price catalysts for Bitcoin in 2025 include potential regulatory changes in the U.S., political support, and increasing institutional adoption.
