A trading card collector recently found a redemption card valued at over $100,000 in a $50 pack purchased from Cardsmiths. This Bitcoin card, redeemable for a single BTC, was part of the 2024 Holiday Currency Set, which includes festive and crypto-themed trading cards. The Bitcoin card was one of the rare crypto redemption cards, found in approximately 1 out of every 96 packs. Alongside it, the set features redemption cards for other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. This recent discovery is among the largest Bitcoin redemptions in Cardsmiths' history, following prior instances where collectors found full Bitcoin cards in different packs. The parent company of Cardsmiths, Tonyk, indicated that five Bitcoin redemption cards were originally produced. Currently, all packs including crypto cards are sold out, but new series are anticipated later this year, which will also include similar crypto redemption cards.
