SKALE Labs announced the launch of FAIR, the world’s first MEV-resistant Layer 1 blockchain designed for AI and DeFi applications. With Vodafone as a founding validator, FAIR creates an environment for AI agents and users to access deep liquidity without the threat of miner extractable value (MEV) or other value extraction methods. MEV is a major issue in decentralized finance, extracting value from users and impacting transactions. FAIR utilizes the BITE Protocol to eliminate MEV at the consensus level, ensuring fairness and privacy during transactions. This platform will allow developers to build AI-driven applications that operate securely, preventing front-running and other manipulations. FAIR's unique features include integration for transaction security and autonomous agents who can engage with DeFi protocols. The FAIR Mainnet will eventually introduce its own native token, while the existing $SKL token will still play a significant role. David Palmer from Vodafone highlighted the need for a new digital infrastructure that offers security and trust as the use of AI and blockchain continues to grow.
