Securitize, Mantle launch institutional crypto fund
Securitize has joined forces with Mantle to introduce the Mantle Index Four (MI4) Fund, an institutional fund designed to generate yield on a diversified array of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana, as well as US dollar-pegged stablecoins. This fund aims to mirror the function of a traditional index fund, offering institutions an avenue for earning returns on digital assets. The MI4 Fund also includes liquid staking tokens like Mantle’s mETH, Bybit’s bbSOL, and Ethena’s USDe, aiming to enhance overall returns through onchain yield strategies. As of April 24, Mantle Staked Ether yields approximately 3.78% APR. The launch coincides with a growing trend of increased institutional and retail interest in cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin. Securitize stands out as a leading platform in the tokenization of traditional assets, holding significant market share within the space. Its largest fund, the BlackRock Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund, manages over $2.5 billion in assets, underlining the firm's prominence in the tokenization arena.
