Saylor says Bitcoin could fix Apple’s stock buybacks
Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, suggests that Apple should invest in Bitcoin to enhance its underperforming stock buyback program. His comments come after a notable Bitcoin rally of over 11% in 2025, contrasting sharply with Apple's stock, which has declined by 18% during the same period. Amid increasing corporate adoption of digital assets, Saylor reiterated the need for Apple to integrate Bitcoin into its strategy to restore value to shareholders. This recommendation follows criticism from Jim Cramer regarding Apple's current buyback efforts. Apple's stock has seen a remarkable decline of over 17% since the year's start, while Bitcoin has gained more than 17% in the same timeframe. Saylor points out that Bitcoin has surged over 1,000% in the past five years compared to Apple shares' 137% increase, underscoring an urgent need for Apple to explore digital asset investments in response to market challenges.
