Pengu Clash has officially launched as a new Telegram game featuring the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection, allowing players to engage in 1v1 battles. Players can customize their penguins and participate in various mini-games such as curling, darts, and football. Unlike typical pay-to-win games, the gameplay focuses on skill, as explained by Michal Dabrowski, CEO of Elympics, which developed Pengu Clash. The initial launch welcomed a portion of the waitlist comprised of over 1.1 million Telegram accounts. The game features quickplay matches, a PVP arena, and a shop tab, with future plans to introduce quests. Pengu Clash utilizes the TON blockchain for its in-game NFTs and optional wagering, while cosmetic items require wallet connections for purchases. Pudgy Penguins aims to reach younger audiences with initiatives like a children's book and an animated series, striving to become a prominent player in the crypto space. CEO Luca Netz highlighted their chain-agnostic vision in creating the game, with a desktop version in the works.
