Phantom, a widely used crypto wallet, has introduced beta support for the Sui blockchain, joining Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum as supported networks within the app. This integration signals Phantom's commitment to integrating only capable chains, as noted by CEO Brandon Millman. Sui aims to enhance scalability and user experience, aligning with Phantom's goal to make crypto universally accessible. Users can activate Sui support in the app settings and begin trading SUI and other tokens seamlessly. Sui is the first blockchain added to Phantom that employs the Move programming language, originally developed by Meta within the Diem project. The Sui network has rapidly grown, amassing over $1.6 billion in assets and a significant market presence. With the new chain added, Phantom plans to further enhance support by integrating Sui NFTs and fiat onramps in the future. Currently, Phantom is valued at $3 billion and boasts over 15 million active users and $20 billion in token swap volume annually.
