Sweet, the company behind NHL and MLS digital collectibles platforms, announced the launch of SCOR, a new rewards token built on the TON blockchain. This initiative will kick off with two sports mini-games on Telegram called Ice Snake and Glove Hero, allowing players to earn digital gems through gameplay. These gems can later be converted into the SCOR token once it is launched. Although the games currently lack professional licenses, Sweet operates official NFT platforms for major U.S. hockey and soccer leagues. Sweet's CEO, Tom Mizzone, emphasized that integrating SCOR signifies a significant evolution in how sports fandom and engagement are valued within the gaming ecosystem. The SCOR token will have a total supply of 4 billion, with a substantial portion allocated for ecosystem growth and in-game incentives. This new development aims to broaden Sweet's platform reach and introduce pro sports partners to a new user base.
