Michael Saylor’s Strategy makes smallest Bitcoin purchase on record
Michael Saylor’s Strategy has reported its smallest Bitcoin purchase, acquiring 130 BTC for approximately $10.7 million amidst a drop in Bitcoin prices below $80,000. This purchase sets a new record for the firm, which has previously made larger acquisitions, such as a $250 million purchase in August 2020. With this latest transaction, Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 499,226 BTC, valued at around $33.1 billion, with an average acquisition price of $66,360 per BTC. The company is just 774 BTC away from reaching the milestone of 500,000 BTC. In 2025 alone, Strategy has acquired 51,656 BTC across multiple purchases, highlighting its ongoing commitment to Bitcoin despite the smaller size of this latest buy.
