Over the past year, Metaplanet has achieved an impressive yield of 225% on its Bitcoin purchasing strategy, significantly boosting its share price by over 5,000% since April last year. Metaplanet, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, is dedicated to managing a Bitcoin reserve and has amassed a market cap of $3.82 billion, ranking as the 3,217th most valuable firm globally. The firm has financed its acquisitions through various bond and stock offerings, recently marking its 16th and 17th bonds issuance worth $71 million. Analysts note an increasing trend of public companies adopting Bitcoin strategies, with broader corporate accumulation expected to enhance Bitcoin's price and appeal to retail investors.
