Czech President Petr Pavel has signed a new cryptocurrency law which provides regulatory clarity on digital assets in line with EU regulations. This legislation simplifies tax rules and grants cryptocurrency companies access to bank accounts upon acquiring a license. In another significant development, Telegram has mandated that third-party wallets use TON Connect, sparking backlash as existing wallets must integrate this new protocol by February 21, 2025. Additionally, MicroStrategy has reported a staggering $670 million net loss in the fourth quarter of 2024 after rebranding to 'Strategy'. Despite the loss, the firm has purchased an additional 218,887 Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to over $45 billion, the highest for any company globally.
