Ripple has launched a cross-border payment service in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through partnerships with Zand Bank and Mamo, contributing to increasing crypto adoption in the region. Following regulatory approval in Dubai, this move is aimed at enhancing financial transactions within the UAE, which is already seen as a leader in certain cryptocurrency usages. Meanwhile, MicroStrategy, now known as Strategy, acquired 7,390 BTC for approximately $765 million while facing a class-action lawsuit alleging inaccurate representation of Bitcoin investments. With this acquisition, their total Bitcoin holdings stand at 576,230 BTC, valued over $59 billion. Bitcoin reached a record weekly close, drawing closer to its peak price of $109,358, reflecting a growing momentum in the market as it experienced a daily close of approximately $102,615, marking a significant gain recently. Analysts remain optimistic about Bitcoin potentially setting a new higher high.
