In today's crypto news, French authorities have lifted judicial restrictions on Telegram founder Pavel Durov until April 7. Durov has returned to Dubai after a lengthy stay in France. Meanwhile, the Bank of Korea confirmed it has not considered Bitcoin as a foreign reserve due to its high volatility. Central bank officials stated that there has been no review or discussion about including Bitcoin in foreign exchange reserves, highlighting concerns regarding instability in the cryptocurrency market and the potential for increased transaction costs. Additionally, Jameson Lopp, CSO of Casa, has expressed opposition to using quantum computers for restoring lost Bitcoin, arguing that it undermines Bitcoin’s core principles, such as censorship resistance and transaction immutability. Lopp deemed that allowing quantum recovery would not provide any security benefits and could compromise the integrity of the network by enabling unauthorized claims to funds.
