Solayer is set to launch its Emerald Card, a cryptocurrency rewards Visa debit card, utilizing the Solayer Infini Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) L1 chain. The card will be available in over 100 countries, including the US, and will support Apple Pay and Android Pay integrations. It boasts a rewards program designed to let users earn crypto, airdrops, and access staking. The Emerald Card will incorporate SolanaID to help users build their on-chain reputation and link multiple wallets into a single identity. Initially offered to 40,000 users through a community sale, the card will compete with other crypto debit cards on the market, such as Solana SolCard and Gnosis Pay. SolanaID's Head of Growth emphasized the card's role in connecting real-world spending with crypto identities, facilitating easier conversions of digital assets into tangible spending options.
