Tavernlight Games is set to launch the QUEST token for its Ethereum-based MMORPG, RavenQuest, following the game's release on March 14, 2025. The QUEST token aims to enhance the game's economy directly, allowing players to earn tokens through in-game achievements and contributions. Players can utilize the token to maintain land plots, equip abilities, and trade within the marketplace. Unlike other games that conduct extensive airdrop campaigns, RavenQuest plans a small airdrop for participants in recent playtests. The total token supply is set at 1 billion, with a significant portion (54.25%) allocated for ecosystem rewards. The development team will receive 12.5% of the supply, subject to a vesting schedule. The game has gained traction among players, with over 1.2 million viewing hours on Twitch in February 2025. More expansions and potential token buybacks are anticipated to further enrich the game’s ecosystem.
