Major ecosystems expect this transition to propel Ethereum back towards a seamless experience. Although immediate interoperability won’t achieve full synchronous composability, expected updates will allow users to transfer tokens easily. Furthermore, innovations like the AggLayer aim to unify liquidity across all Ethereum L2s, improving efficiency and access. This shift will ultimately empower users to manage assets across different chains without hassle. Other enhancements, such as new EIPs enhancing address clarity and smart accounts, are on the horizon, supporting the broader goal of an interconnected Ethereum ecosystem, with projections for additional developments extending into 2026.
