The USD1 stablecoin was launched in March 2025 and this investment marks MGX's inaugural entry into the cryptocurrency market. Although Binance did not disclose the specific stablecoin used for this transaction when asked, this investment is notable as it represents the first institutional investment in Binance and could potentially be the largest funding deal in the entire Web3 industry.
