Rekt Brands, a crypto startup, has launched Abstract Apple, a limited-edition sparkling water that includes rewards tied to the Ethereum L2 chain Abstract. Buyers of a case (24 cans) not only receive 25,000 DRANK points but also an Abstract NFT. Each case is priced at $69.69 and can be purchased with either crypto or fiat currency. The launch, which sold out quickly, saw over 220,000 cans purchased, although some buyers received extra DRANK points by mistake. Rekt Brands previously introduced a lime-flavored sparkling water that also sold out within 48 hours. The company aims for broader distribution in the future, and OSF, a co-founder, hinted at plans to release new and returning flavors. This venture follows similar attempts to merge crypto and food, such as Ape Water and Snoop Dogg's ice cream, but Rekt seems to target crypto enthusiasts rather than the general public for now.
