The data set reached the top of categories such as General AI and Engineering but lost ranks following updates in early May. Subramaniam cautioned that ranking does not guarantee enterprise-grade quality but underscores the significance of provenance and incentives in data. He stated that verifiable, community-sourced datasets are increasingly essential as high-quality image data becomes scarce due to concerns like image poisoning by artists.
