His friend contacted the police, who tracked the location and responded to the situation. When police arrived, the victim attempted to escape but fell while climbing down the balcony. He was hospitalized for his injuries. The police found firearms, cash, a money counter, knives, and drugs in the kidnappers' apartment. The three suspects were arrested and charged with several serious offenses including kidnapping and drug trafficking.
