A Delaware court has granted a temporary restraining order to Consensus Colocation, a Pennsylvania Bitcoin mining firm, against Mawson Hosting over a payment dispute. The order, issued on March 12, prevents Mawson from blocking Consensus's access to its 21,000 mining rigs located in Midland, Pennsylvania. The dispute arose after Mawson allegedly restricted entry and began mining Bitcoin for its own profit since February 28, claiming rights under their colocation agreement. Consensus argues that Mawson's actions were unauthorized and that they are owed $17,505.45 in late fees, which they dispute. Mawson asserts it has the right to use the rigs due to the terms of the agreement, which is set to terminate at the end of March 2025. Mawson's actions are believed to have generated daily profits of $100,000 to $200,000 while blocking Consensus from any access. The temporary restraining order will remain until a preliminary injunction hearing takes place.
