Copper to provide crypto custody services for Fineqia’s crypto ETNs
Fineqia AG has partnered with crypto custodian Copper to enhance custody solutions for its exchange-traded note (ETN) offerings, increasing product reliability and transparency as institutional interest in cryptocurrencies grows. Copper will secure the assets underlying Fineqia's ETNs, including the Cardano Enhanced Yield ETN, which has $45 million in assets under management. With the ability to include various cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ether, and others, the partnership aims to protect customer assets from theft or unauthorized access. The deal highlights the increasing demand for custodial services among asset managers in the crypto space, as firms rush to address the qualified custodian market, particularly in North America. Many companies are expanding their custodial services to accommodate rising institutional demand, with the hope of attracting traditional financial institutions into the cryptocurrency market.
