CoinDesk has announced that Consensus 2026, a major event on the crypto conference calendar, will be hosted in Miami, Florida from May 5-7, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Michael Lau, Consensus Chairman, highlighted Miami as an exceptional venue for innovation due to its vibrant culture and strategic location, promoting collaboration among global participants. The event first started in 2015 in New York, evolved through a virtual format during the pandemic, and was held in Austin for three consecutive years. Earlier in 2025, a Consensus event was also successfully hosted in Hong Kong, attracting over 10,000 attendees. The Miami conference is expected to facilitate critical discussions and business opportunities among industry leaders. Tickets will be available for purchase during Consensus 2025 in Toronto, which is scheduled for May 14-16, featuring prominent speakers such as Eric Trump and Charles Hoskinson.
