RTFKT, Nike's digital brand, lost its CloneX NFT art overnight as it was replaced with a notice indicating a violation of Cloudflare’s Terms of Service. The art for the 19,500 Ethereum NFTs was restricted due to a mishap with their Cloudflare hosting plan, which does not permit video streaming under basic service terms. Speculation arose about unpaid bills impacting RTFKT’s service, but RTFKT's Head of Tech clarified that this issue was unrelated. Alternative RTFKT collections remained unaffected at the time. Users on social media noted the disappearance of CloneX art, which had been visible until early morning. By noon, some of the art reappeared as RTFKT indicated they would transition to a decentralized storage system with Arweave. The CloneX collections have faced considerable market fluctuations, with prices dropping significantly since their peak, leading to heavy sales and concerns about the future of the collection.
