Bybit confirms withdrawals are active, warns of delays
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou addressed concerns regarding withdrawal processing in a livestream following a high-profile hack. He confirmed that withdrawals are open and that around 70% of transactions have successfully gone through, though many users may experience delays attributed to network congestion. At the moment, there are about 4,000 pending withdrawal transactions. Zhou assured customers that there are no plans to suspend or cancel withdrawals and emphasized that all withdrawal requests are currently being received. He also stated that no other Bybit wallets were compromised during the security incident. To continue operations amid these issues, the exchange is securing a bridge loan. Following the hack, many tokens experienced price drops, with a report indicating ETH price action began declining around 15:00 CET.
