Bold Technologies and My Aion have announced a $2.5 billion initiative to develop an AI-powered platform, Aion Sentia Cognitive City, in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This smart city project aims to enhance urban infrastructure management across various sectors such as mobility, energy, education, healthcare, and digital services, utilizing an AI engine called Maia. The initiative is expected to create jobs for UAE citizens and foster local innovation. The project follows a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, allowing private entities to develop the infrastructure, manage it for a set period, and eventually transfer ownership to the government. The launch is anticipated within 18 months, expanding internationally thereafter. This development demonstrates the UAE's commitment to integrating advanced technology within urban settings.
