Bold Technologies and My Aion have announced a $2.5 billion initiative to develop an AI-powered platform named Aion Sentia Cognitive City, aimed at transforming urban infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This innovative project will leverage AI to optimize essential urban systems across areas such as mobility, energy, education, healthcare, and digital services. My Aion's CEO highlighted the AI's capability to manage personal user experiences, like booking reservations seamlessly. The project operates under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model, allowing private entities to build and manage infrastructure before transferring ownership to the public sector. The CEO of Bold Technologies emphasized that this initiative is expected to create jobs for UAE nationals and foster local innovation while My Aion views relocating to Abu Dhabi as a strategic move for global operations. The platform aims to launch within 18 months, with plans for future international expansion.
