Block.one Subsidiary Bullish Eyes 2025 IPO Amid Crypto Market Optimism
Bullish Global, a crypto exchange subsidiary of Block.one, is considering an initial public offering (IPO) as early as this year, as reported by Bloomberg. This potential move revives their plans for a public listing that were shelved in 2022. The company, which has support from notable backers including Peter Thiel, is collaborating with Jefferies Financial Group to explore this listing. Bullish's decision comes in light of the recent surge in cryptocurrency prices, with the total market value rising to $3.15 trillion. Founded in 2021 by Brendan Blumer, who is also the chairman of Bullish, the firm employs over 275 staff globally and holds around $10 billion in digital assets and cash. The discussions regarding the IPO are ongoing, with additional banking partners being considered. As of now, neither representatives from Bullish nor Block.one have commented on this development.
