BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF posts $356M inflows, longest inflow streak in 2025
BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) has reported a significant inflow of $356.2 million on May 9, marking its longest inflow streak of 19 consecutive days this year. The inflows began on April 14 during a volatile period for Bitcoin, which traded between $83,152 and $103,000. Recent market sentiment has improved as Bitcoin regained crucial price levels, surpassing $90,000 and $100,000. Over the past week, IBIT attracted $1.03 billion in inflows alone. The previous longest inflow streak for IBIT was nine days surrounding Donald Trump’s inauguration in January 2025. Since the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024, approximately $41.13 billion has flowed into these funds. BlackRock’s ETF was awarded “Best New ETF” at the annual etf.com ETF awards on April 23, highlighting its growing prestige in the market. Analysts predict that Bitcoin's structural inflows may help it match gold's market capitalization by 2029, with projections suggesting a price of $1 million for Bitcoin by that time.
