Alice Li, head of US at Foresight Ventures, predicts that improved cryptocurrency regulations, particularly around stablecoins, could propel Bitcoin to over $150,000 in the current market cycle. Speaking on Cointelegraph’s Chain Reaction show, Li emphasized that US policy changes are significantly influencing the crypto market’s rally in 2025. The upcoming Senate vote on the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act, which aims to provide clarity on stablecoin collateralization and compliance, is expected to be a major catalyst. Li noted that countries like Singapore and Hong Kong, which have already implemented similar regulations, could follow suit, promoting further innovations in global markets. Additionally, she mentioned that a potential interest rate cut from the US Federal Reserve could bolster Bitcoin’s price even more. Despite a recent dip in venture capital deals, with only 62 rounds raising $909 million in May, Li remains optimistic about Bitcoin’s trajectory, stating her strong belief in its future value during this cycle.
