Strategy (MSTR) has increased its Bitcoin holdings by 15,355 BTC, bringing its total to 553,555 BTC, valued at over $52 billion based on the current price of approximately $95,000 per BTC. The latest acquisition was made at an average price of $92,737 per Bitcoin, totaling about $1.42 billion. This purchase was financed through common and preferred stock offerings, which generated over $4 million from the sale of Class A common stock and more than 435,000 shares of their preferred stock, STRK. Currently, only $128.7 million of the common stock program remains, which represents a mere 0.6% of the initial $21 billion set in motion in October. Following this news, MSTR shares rose by 1.5% in pre-market trading. Michael Saylor, the Executive Chairman of Strategy, continues to play a crucial role in the company’s Bitcoin investment strategy, which has gained significant attention in the cryptocurrency market.
