Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance, predicts that Bitcoin could reach between $500,000 and $1 million during the current market cycle. In an interview with Rug Radio, he attributed this potential rise to factors like institutional adoption, the introduction of Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and increasing government purchases of Bitcoin. Zhao noted that several countries, including El Salvador and Bhutan, are accumulating Bitcoin as part of their national strategies, which he views as positive for price validation. Further, he remarked on the shifting US policy under a pro-crypto president, suggesting that this could lead other nations to follow suit. Zhao emphasized that retail investors have had ample opportunity to invest in Bitcoin over the last 15 years, implying that any future lack of participation would be their choice.
