The malicious software includes Lumma Stealer and Atomic Stealer, which target cryptocurrency wallets and capture sensitive information like passwords. Malwarebytes noted that the origin of the malware is unclear, but they traced the hosting site to a Dubai cleaning company and the control server to Russia. They advise users to be cautious of red flags, such as instructions to disable security software and the presence of password-protected files for software downloads.
